It's not all bad though. The rain has stopped, nothing made it inside our mosquito nets while we were sleeping, and we've had an incident-free bath in the river. (Elu assures us that its safe, but then again he also says we won't encounter any jaguars if we need to get up to go to the toilet tonight ... but he's forgotten that we saw paw prints on the way here this morning!)
